Do you think...

...the others are viewing the twins with a bit of fear now?

I mean, before Sunday that must have been the act they'd have been relieved to be in the bottom two with.

But now Simon has played his hand...I wonder if even the overs might be realising they're not the priority they thought they were.

I wondered that too.

Maybe the most interesting thing is the fact that a lot of people - even Jedward's detractors - were shocked they were bottom 2 - after all the press they got last week. The fact everyone was so shocked, kind of reveals their strength. Or perceived strength.

That's an interesting question, Glorfindel. In fairness to all the contestants, I don't believe any of them have displayed anything approaching real arrogance or cockiness. Apart from the twins, who are perhaps too young to have too many inhibitions, none of the others appear to me to be overly confident in their performances.

As untried and tested performers, obviously not used to all the mad media attention that this show is producing, they probably all fear being in the bottom two each week, irrespective of who is there with them.

I'm no fan of the twins and believe it was a mistake to select them for the finals, I do feel a little sorry for them as they are being used disgracefully by Louis and Simon. My biggest fear is if they should win, this will only bring them grief. Whilst they might be this year's "flavour of the month," next year they will be completely forgotten and probably on the dole cue, or in rehab.

Even if they don't win, as long as they get as far as say top 5, they will be signed so it will make no difference where they end up after that.

No, not to us of course, but it will certainly make a difference to them and, sadly, I fear the worse. They're far to young to cope with all the mad hype.

Simon's acts should be worried, because if they come up against Jedward in the bottom 2 I don't fancy any of their chances.

The others with the exception of Lloyd....no way.

I do realise that means only Joe and Stacey shouldn't be worried

Simon is so unpopular right now at kicking one of his acts out next week would make Louis, Danni and Cheryl look like heroes

I was amazed to see them in the bottom 2 after the week they had (and how on earth did Lloyd receive more votes than them?).It was a strange one ; their performance was anticipated all week, they were drawn second last but for some reason, very few people voted for them.

Perhaps the general voting public are not getting the hype and just didn't like their performance, which was just awful. The Papers and minor celebrities, who are always ready to jump on any passing bandwagon, maybe don't have the power they think they have.
It was a laugh at first but the joke has worn thin and people weren't exactly sreambling to vote for them.
And Lucie wasn't good either, Simon was right, she would never have won.

I think they do fear them, that's why none of them will come out and say anything against them, for fear of reprise in a lack of votes!
