Is there anything about the X Factor you DO like?

Just wondered. The negatives seem to be outweighing the positives.

I love everything about the X Factor as I keep saying.

The singing/dancing/ judges/Dermot/contestants/controversy/Simon Cowell/being on this forum and having my say/ having a moan without really getting that upset in the real world.

Its all great. As long as you know what you are watching, whats not to enjoy? If you want to watch a fair, non manipulated, completely open singing contest then this is not the show for you!

Yes. I like Dermot, Danni and Danyl. And I like the "Neon Rainbow" song by the Box Tops that Talk Talk use.

Oh, I like Danni's dresses as well.

I love everything about X Factor. I love the faux drama, I love the fact that it's pretty obvious Mr Cowell his plans for each individual probably drawn up before the show even starts and yet we still buy into it. I love that kids get to live their dream and I love when it all goes tits up like Sunday.

Oh and I dreamt that I married Dermot so everything is just perfick!

I like the fact the ITV and Simon Cowell have given me something to get my teeth into and analyse. I need something like this all year round. Plus I love a good old fashioned moan.

I love the show, but then, I look at it as entertainment. Yes, I have my favourites, yes I choose to vote, but I don't get too uptight if my favourite goes. I love the forum debates on here as a rule, but all this 'much ado about nothing' is detracting from that a little atm.

Oh come on!

It's the ultimate in trash TV. Just what I need after a week of being paid to be highly intelligent and deadly serious.

On Sats I can fling myself down on the sofa with drinkies and nice food and not get up again until well after 9am, at which point my brain is nicely switched off, I have laughed a lot and muttered the odd thing at the TV. I am utterly relaxed by then.

Bliss. Chewing gum TV for the brain
