Simon's plan has worked . . . . .
Keep Jedward in the competition, then everyone will keep talking about them & it takes all the heat off Danyl . . . Simon's golden boy Danyl plays the nice boy, gets a hairut & quietly sneaks all the way to the final . . . Another manipulated job done ! |

I love the twins. They have no talent but I love their enthusiasm. As for Danyl, yes there has been rumour and innuendo but you know what even if it's true not everyone in the world is a nice guy. Jade Goody was an absolute cow in BB, bullying others and yet was transformed into a national treasure. Cheryl Cole in her previous form as Cheryl Tweedy was no more than a little thug with racist allegations following her. Now look at her. Danyl is what Danyl is. It doesn't detract from the fact that he has a fantastic voice and deserves a career out of this.

Why not take the heat off him after the all the disgusting stuff the press have written about him? As far as I am concern (and Simon said this) that person who wins, will be the person most deserving and most talented. This has probably been the most controversal series of X Factor but all we can do as viewers is make sure the right person wins.

Here we go again, congrats OP for the first new thread of the day on Danyl.
 I love the twins AND Danyl. Its no secret I would like to see Danyl win, but honestly, I am not sure there is anything else to add to the already many many theories about whether Mr Cowell actually wants him to win, or is it just a smoke screen to cover his REAL winner, Mr Olly Murs? Who knows? I don't. Anyway, if you know you are being manipulated, even though I am not convinced, then don't vote for Danyl. Simple

I think this week was Danyl's best as he wasn't worrying so much about the press and now with the press all over the Luciegate (as I will call it), I think he could actually seriously wow us this weekend! |

Simon was thinking with his TV Exec head on Sunday, he knew Jedward were a major draw.
Re Danyl, well he deserves some time out of the limelight. I dont think he can win this show, he's been materially damaged by all the nasty tabloid stuff. I hope he has a few more knock out performances in him, because to make it to the Final he'll have to do it the traditional way, win people over with his singing talent rather than dance routines and quirky performance staging. |

There is only gossip about Danyl being nasty spread by people who are scared of him. With the Twins, we have actually seen them being nasty and hurting other people's chances with our own eyes.
The Twins are the bullies for what they did in bootcamp. |

I think it showed the twins inexperience, I don't believe for one minute they did that on purpose - it was all blown up to look like they were truely horrible and had ruined someone's chances. I think that's what they wanted you to believe, hence the headlines 'Horrors' etc. Turns out they are a couple of really nice lads who just want to do well. And Danyl, I'm not keen on his style of singing, personally, but I would never listen to the rubbish printed about him either. |
