Why are there so many people that complain??
\Why is it that so many people complain about things that really dont matter that much...eg the recent x factor eviction, top gear, strictly basicly any tv program they can.
Soon we are just going to have to watch programs that are just silent. woo cant wait! Get a life people! |

Very few people actually care enough about something to complain - 3000 out of 14,000,000 isnt even 0.025% of TXF viewers
The press love non stories, the public lap them up - it sells newspapers - everyone happy |

Actually it's TV's own fault that people complain. There's so many shows that rely on the viewers vote such as x-factor/big brother, plus it seems every other show wants you to email or text in, so it's only natural that people think that they control a show. So it shouldn't come as a surprise when people complain about something they don't like.

I tend to complain a lot about things, particularly TV. I often complain or moan that ashows's too boring, too crap, too stupid, too long... you name it and I'm likely to moan. Sometimes I can be like Victor Meldrew in female student form!

Yes sugarpinkloz! Why complain about TV programmes indeed, there are far important issues to complain about outside our TV sets. There is always OFF button, converstaion, going to the pub etc.

I never watch the X Factor and I have no idea who these acts are but my understanding is that it is in Cowell's financial interests to keep the show in the headlines - so, of course, he's going to want to make it as controversial as possible.

The only time I'd possibly complain, is if a certain programme (or advert) had an adverse effect on my children.

Soon we are just going to have to read forum posts that are completely blank! Erm, at least I think that's what the OP was getting at. Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick. |
