I didn't see any sign of a romance between these 2 on Saturday, and I don't think he fancies her as much as she fancies him. Compared with Ali and Brian on Saturday who looked like they were clearly in love, I just don't see anything with Ricky and Natalie.

I know a thing or two about how women look when lusting after handsome men with great bodies - it is the polar opposite of how women look at me - and I'd say Ms Lowe has got the hots for young Master Whittle based on her performance post-dance on Saturday. He's either playing it very cool on camera, or fancies the Glitterball more than Natters.

Maybe she is a beard - maybe he really yearns after a fellow competitor.....

Though to be honest I don't think she would kick him out for a dodgy heel lead...

???

It was the obvious next rumour, but it does still seem possible. Have to wait and see...

I heard from someone that she mentioned having a boyfriend back in Australia on her first ever ITT?. I didn't watch it myself so i don't know for sure. Eitherway, they'd make a nice couple.

Another showmance.

I agree with others that say the crush is one sided - I can't seen Nat being a long-term prospect for Ricky, but then I was wrong about Brat and Flavia, so who knows.

All I can say is, I'd be very wary if my partner appeared on the show given all the alleged romances over the years.

Maybe I used that wrong - I was referring to the rumours about Ricky and Jade earlier after she appeared to goose him on a Saturday show. Meant Natalie was the beard - is that not the right usage?

I thought he was very gushing about her during their VT before he came out to dance and got the impression he was well into her.

As long as they don't make a complete meal of it on the show - which doesn't tend to happen on Strictly - then I don't care.

Much as I'm suspicious of showmances, it's hardly surprising that dance partners end up in relationships.

Purely by the nature of the show and the amount of hours they put into training, it's not really a surprise that some people will end up falling for their dance partner, and the few we see on this show tend to be genuine (Matt and Flavia, and Joe/Kristina and Ali/Brian both seem genuine as well), compared to other showmances which are clearly not.

It doesn`t surprise me the amount of romances started on SCD - so much close contact and spending days even weeks on end with each other.

Whether or not it is true - we can expect lots of cringeworthy remarks and nudge-nudge from Tess in her boudoir.

Strictly didn't mention Joe and Kristina at all so hopefully they'll go down this route...doubt it though.

I actually thought Ricky and Natalie's VT last Saturday was a very tacky trick by the BBC. Ricky and Carly split and it's all over the papers, obviousy speculation about Ricky and Natalie would mount as a result. Rather than protect them from tabloid rumour and intrusion, BBC rush straight in there with a gushy VT to captalise on the speculation and create a stir. Not surprised, but it was poor form by the Beeb in my opinion.

We still call them "showmances", but the last few have turned out to be very genuine!!! Not so sure that anything's going on between Ricky and Natalie though.

I just don't see it. Ali & Brian, yes. Joe & Kristina, yes. Ricky & Natalie, no.
