Food Network FTA Now - Freesat

King of Sat is reporting Food Network is FTA for the moment. I probably should have posted in broadcasting but Freesat viewers might be interested and I am sure SKY and Cable may already know or have it on their EPG.

Eurobird 1, 28.5°E
A new channel has started in DVB-S Clear: Food Network 11344.00MHz, pol.H SR:27500

Intressting that they tested encrypted then went FTA once it was added to the sky epg

hopefully it will stay FTA & join freesat aswell

There is no encryption flag set for the Food Network or Food Network+1 so it looks like it could be permanently FTA, wonder if Freesat will try and get them to join the Feesat EPG as it's a genre that's missing from from the Freesat EPG.

Its listed on sky.com since monday as a channel that can be received free to air, without card and subscription....
