X Factor debate thread: you choose the debate coz I can't find last nights!

Hello again everyone.

Thought I would re-open a debate thread, to see if there is anyone out there today who would like a friendly open debate on any X Factor points.

I gave the debate points yesterday, is there anyone who would like to give a couple today?

OK, how about this?

If next week's bottom two were Stacey and John and Edward, who would Simon choose to make redundant - Dannii or Louis?

My question:

If Lucie deserved to stay in, why was she so unpopular with the voting public?

I'd like to know how much time the dance teacher is spending with Jedward - it must be most of his working week.

I'm convinced he just gives out the other contestants a few Jade Goody aerobics DVDs to memories whilst creating another sperm-top masterpiece.

And the more "hands-on" the better, right Mr Friedman?

I don't think she was unpopular just alot of people assumed she'd be fine and voted for their 2nd favourite. She does get some stick on here but I do believe she's a nice girl that wouldn't bitch about anyone.
She has come across well in interviews and when these has been tabloid stories it's from people that don't criticise her. She had one bad story and that was the eggs throwing one which proved to be a lie.
Regarding Stacey v Jedward I wouldn't put it past Simon to get rid of Stacey. It would make headlines, get people talking and Simon would have got rid of the last remaining threat to his acts.

I can't help laughing, because that story was so OTT trying to make Lucie look like a hoodlum that I would guess most people just saw it as a joke. I thought, "Well, if that's all the dirt they can dig up on her they've a long row to hoe to make her public enemy number one."

I guessed it was a fabrication, but even it if was true it seemed innocuous. Probably a lot of teen girls who've had boyfriend problems would have identified with her.

I'm sorry Lucie is out of the competition, and I agree that her low vote was due to complacency amongst her fans and not unpopularity. (I wouldn't want J & E out in her place, though—seems to me that even the "this is a singing competition" crowd would be hard-pressed to make a case that Lloyd is head and shoulders above the Twins vocally, based on recent performances. Entertainment-wise, he is clearly inferior.)
