What would Simon do if...

...say both Danyl and Jamie or even Olly were in the last two next week?

Whatever has happened has happened now, it's gone and finished with, but what does remain is the question of his obvious lack of the ability for him to carry out his duties as a judge rather than always running behind the public to bail him out.

Honestly, I think it will happen this week, you will see both his acts in the last two, and then he'd be in the quandry he deserves to be in! Who does he save then!!??

Umm he'd save Danyl if it were a Jamie/Danyl final two and he wouldn't even break a sweat in making the decision.

I think Simon wouldn't be happy with it, but he would pick the one he has more chance of getting the furthest. He is a businessman, choices like that wont be as hard as people think.

Didn't he once actually vote out one of his acts over anothers?

If it's a 2-1 vote when it gets to him he'll go to deadlock. If it's 3-0 it's too late anyway so he can say whatever the hell he likes. The benefits of going last.

It's not going to happen though, Olly won't be in the bottom 2 (although Jamie probably will be and Danyl certainly should be!)

This series has been so unpredictable though, so anything is possible.

Yes exactly, but how many times can he actually continue to do this without losing even more credibitlity? After all, isn't he already now having to find some way to win the public back?? Could be tough for him if his acts are in the last two, I think he would genuinely struggle with it - unless it's 3-0 before it gets to his turn which would be the only thing that would safe his face.

I don't see why he should have to make excuses for going to deadlock, it's there if they can't decide and if you have to choose between 2 of your own acts then it's understandable to try and get an even vote.
There is no where i the XF rules that say deadlock is limited so he can do it every week if he wants. All that does, really, is make the sing-off an extra little bit of the show and it all rely on the public and the saturday performance. If they perform crap on a sat and get no votes then who cares if they do a good performance on sun, Sat is the main show for a reason!

I don't think it's been that unpredictable really. I haven't been surprised by any of the bottom 2 choices, or by the result of the deadlock votes.

I don't think he will struggle and wouldn't leave it to the public if his own. You don't get to his position by wimping out of tough actions.

I can see why he left it to the public for the other contestants, I would be very surprised though if he did on his own if he could have say.
