Neighbours - The Australian Dance?

So another of their 25 year old looking teenagers, Kate, got to her dance class tonight. She has a 10 lesson voucher, which we Just Know is going to make her good enough for Jason Coleman, who is apparently a real person, I googled him.

Just seen the first dance class and lo and behold, they seemed to be doing exactly the same dance Kate got caught doing by herself: step, spin, arms in the air, crouch like someone punched you. Wow, I didn't know there was one National Australian Dance, how interesting.

As I predicted, she's as good a dancer as Summer suddenly was as a pianist.

Of course there's a national Australian dance. We're all born knowing it. It's the same principle you see in musicals where if one character decides to dance in the street everyone else follows and automatically knows the steps. Us Aussies don't know how we know it. We just do. In fact if you watch an expectant Aussie mum's ultrasound you can see the foetus stepping, spinning, putting its arms in the air and crouching. .

I always quite fancied the idea of living in Australia but the past few episodes of Neighbours have made me question that. From what I have seen the schools have no security as anyone seems to be able to wander in, online banking is alarmingly easy to hack into and tenants have no rights! On the plus side though they do seem to be able to get A list celebs to appear on pirate radio stations :-)
