Yes, they do. Queen songs were mainly belters, anyway, so they'll suit people with the stronger voices better. Danyl has a strong voice and a wide range, just right for the choice of song.

The only thing Danyl has a slight problem with is singing a melody, other than that he's a great singer, like or not, and this is a fantastic choice for him and some peoples opinions of him on this board are plagued by thoughts on his persona, not his voice, you couldnt make it more blatantly obvious.

And sometimes you have to be a bastard or a bastard to work with to be a success in music, and Freddie himself admitted he was one.

I don't know what Simon is playing at. This is the guy who he supposedly was trying to promote to the American audience and he repeatedly gives him songs that are going to lead to him getting more of the same unfavourable comparisons he has been getting from the start. But still some people think that Danyl is the chosen one and that Simon's comments at his audition were not made simply to attract attention to the show.
