JEDWARD are deluded latest from Cowell!

Jedward are deluded, says Cowell
(UKPA) – 17 minutes ago

X Factor judge Simon Cowell may have saved John and Edward, but he has blasted them as "deluded" and declared: "They're not aware how bad they are."

Cowell gave his backing to the Grimes twins on Sunday's show - leading to Lucie Jones being given the boot - but said they were getting "progressively worse".

'They're not aware of how bad they are', he's got a real cheek slagging them off. According to a Westlife interview today Simon was showing them footage of John and edward before the bootcamp shows. He obviously wanted them in the show.

Don't bother listening to a work this man says. He proved on Sunday that he has a secret Jedward fetish. If he really thought they were terrible he'd have taken his chance to get rid of them.

Yep, he is just using this publicity to get more people to vote for the twins.

Those comments feel like they're coming from a time warp - i'm pretty sure everyone would just shrug and go "fair enough" if he said he thought they were entertaining and added something different to the show.

He's beyond unprofessional and rude this series. Simon just quit while you're behind.

However he's probably trying to conjure up votes for the twins.

Cowell must be panicking and forgetting things he's already said. he all over the shop with this. i don't see who cowell thinks he will convince now that the twins are in a world of their own, especially after the way they looked while the booing was going on. they were obviously affected.
also cowell is insulting those who vote for them in the process. Not a good business strategy. Simon has lost the plot with this outburst.

Plus, I like that he said this....

"If you allow - which I think is right - the public to determine who wins, you've got to go with it. You don't have to agree with it but you have to go with it."

Oh so true, of oh so many people, not only Simon.

I don't think he's fooling anyone any more. He's just trying desperately to snatch back some credibility as a music industry professional but is in fact demonstrating to an even greater extent that nothing that comes out of his mouth can be believed.

He's not backing them, he's backing Olly.
He just wanted to get rid of Lucie as she was a threat to his boys.

Yep, he sure is shaking in his boots. Get real. Whats the worst that can happen? I doubt the show will lose many viewers, if any, plus he is likely to gain some. On top of that, all the really "deluded" people who are apparently either going to "vote for the twins" or "vote for anyone except Simon's acts" in the mistaken belief that they are somehow getting back at him. He's quids in mate! Even if this DID happen to bring down The X Factor, which is highly unlikely, as there will be another outrage for us to focus on shortly, or failing that in 3 months time when its all over no-one will remember to give a damn, he has BGT and Idol and many many other pies. He wants the publicity, I don't suppose he cares much what kind.

Can't say I love the man but the rest is spot on.

Simon has retaken centre stage. It's all about Mr Cowell.

If you really mean that then get rid of the judges vote completely Simon, at least everyone knows where we stand then.

Look what happened when he gave them some praise - they ended up in the bottom two He probably thinks the public are foolish enough to fall for this again - and you know what? He's probably right!

Exactly. He knows exactly what he's doing. That doesn't make me admire him that makes me dislike him. He's a dishonest, egotistical, manipulative, rude, unprofessional and selfish man. The way he is at the moment I can't believe I ever liked him. I always admired him for being honest - that was his "thing". He's not even been that this year.

i agree that those who think he's bothered [from a financial poit of view] that they are cocking a snook at him, are deluding nobody but themselves.
i was thinking more along the lines of the credibility he's losing after this weekend's contradictions.
of course, money is no longer an object but he must be a bit worried that his reputation for frankness and plain speaking has taken a knock.
