Apologies if there is already a thread on this, but does anyone know what this is all about? Why did she keep writing to Jake and why is she so obsessed by him???

At first I thought they were related, but obviously not...

I have heard that she has a deep dark secret, anyone know what it is??

Strange to come up now as she has been about for ages, with Dom etc with no mention of this before.

I dont know either? didnt like it yesterday when she stood their and let hannah take the blame for the letters and I hope when the truth comes out hannah will stay clear of nancy

I have a feeling that

they might be half brother and sister as in Soaplife this week, there is a piece saying about half-siblings falling for each other. And remember, Jake's dad was a philanderer!

That's what I was thinking. But maybe it's emmerdale they are talking about.

And I think maybe that Lorretta has had problems in her past similar to his, that's why she's so drawn to Jake.

I suspect Loretta has a psycho ex who tracks her down.
It could be she had given him plenty of chances in the past by let her down or got sent to jail. He could get jealous of her relationship with Jake which may bt why his life is put in danger.

Either that of Loretta is a psycho herself who has lured Jake into a trap feeling he should be punished and is only pretending to be good to him.
