Pixie Lott work your way up

Anyone read the thing about Pixie Lott saying you should work your way up instead of going on X-Factor. Some people might not have that chance and seeing she's only 18 i'm sure she's got a musical background or something as it's very young to suddenly make it. Why is an artist who sings other people's songs not as good. I'd rather hear a good singer sing someone elses song than write a rubbish one themselves

Kinda hypocritical of her, seeing as the song that she broke into the music industry with (mama do) was not written by her at all...

I thought she didn't write 'Mama do'?

It also helped her that she showed a little flesh. Not that that is a bad thing in particular.... But she was no struggling artiste I can tell you that for sure.

Both.

Before she decided music was her next career route she appeared on britannia high(failed to get past audition) she then performed in the musical chitty chitty bang bang and has been quoted as saying that she'll eventually be an actress as she prefers it to music.

I read that full interview in fabulous mag and it did make me laugh. It was just lie after lie. She doesn't even write!! She prances about in her pants!! Now tell me what is real about that?

So she didn't struggle someone paid for how to go to stage school. Maybe people on X-factor can't afford it.

First of all, I completely agree with her-there is definitely more merit in an artist if they have worked hard to get to where they are. By the way, working hard does not include shameless promotion (posing provocatively in a "lads" mag or using daddy's stock trader salary to stick your name on a private jet...).

I don't think, however, that I would ever refer to Pixie Lott as a "hard working" "real artist" who has "worked her way up". She is on par with the very xfactor mediocrities she pretty much slags off in her diatribe.

In fact, I don't think I would even call her an "artist", seeing as she has no discernible talent.

She's much worse than x factor contestants. She obviously thinks she's better than them and she's not!

How stupid must she be to come out and say she's better and more 'real' than them because she write's her own songs when she doesn't at all!! I feel so embarrassed for her. What an idiot.

In the fabulous interview there was also a bit about how her mum is always with her and steps in if pixie is flashing too much flesh. Hello? Where has she been for the past 6months? Hahaha

it also said she regularly googles her daughter and reads Internet forums! Hope she's not reading this one!

The maw is an absolute disgrace. Clearly living her failed life through her teenage daughter. Pathetic.

The whole article is an embarrassment.

I never said anything about listening to her music so why would you imply that i am deaf?

I'm simply pointing out her own idiocy for stating she's 'real' because she writes, when her biggest hit and breakthrough song wasn't written by her at all.
