Gavin & Stacey - Series Three

Finally been confirmed to be starting on Thursday 26th November on BBC One.

With the DVD out 11 days later, I guess this means it'll be shown back-to-back throughout the week at 10.35PM?

Can't wait for this to start

I liked the first two series, but man, I'm already sick to death of the trailer for series 3 and it doesn't even start for another two weeks!

They're so crazy doing this if it really is back-to-back over a week. It'll feel like overkill. It's fine for something like the Torchwood: Children of Earth 5 parter because it was one continuing story, but Gavin & Stacey should definitely be weekly.

I reckon the BBC should have saved the last episode for Christmas Day. You've got to wonder what monkeys make these decisions.

Why 10.35? The first episode is going out at 9pm. I cant see it being shown over consecutive nights. As for the dvd release earlier in the year the dvd of Reggie Perrin was released before the final episode had been shown. Maybe this is the case here although I cant see it being released with 5 episodes still to show. Maybe there will be a double bill on one or two weeks so it finishes on Christmas week.
