Hi, I stayed in a apartment hotel on saturday and had to pay a £200 deposit in case there was any damage (there wasn't) which was supposed to be refunded within 24 hours of checking out. It's still not back in my account today

I phoned yesterday and they said they would sort it out but obviously haven't. Does anyone know if credit card refunds go straight back in your account or take a few days to come through, before I call them back?

Late Rooms have asked me to write a review but it won't be a very good one!!!

If you pay a deposit on a credit card, it is usually authorised but not actually taken. I would check with my credit card company.

in my experience it can take a couple of days

Thanks guys, the deposit was actually taken from my card, not just authorised.

I'll give it another day or so to see if it comes through.
