Lucie's dreams were real - John and Edward are having a laugh

That's the impression I get - that Lucie's a real, serious, decent contender with hopes and dreams that everyone can relate too. She's like a member of the family in so many ways - and she's seriously talented.

You can tell that Lucie's amazing talent has been nurtured from a young age. She has the sweetest personality, the sweetest voice - and she has a very family look about her - like a big sister, daughter or close cousin.

John and Edward on the other hand are a couple of misbehaving, untalented kids who couldn't give a rats arse. They seem more like the kind of people likely to ride small bikes in your street, beat up your children and carry knives.

If Simon was a politician, he would be one of those people who looks after the criminals and punishes the victims.

No wonder Gordon Brown seems to admire him.

Are you also the sort of person who would sit in the audience and boo the twins? That's a horrid thing to say about someone you don't even know.

Have to say disagree.....both lucie and jedward are just all similar kids chasing a similar dream.

And the way jedward have handled this and the way they come out week in week out shows an admirable maturity.

Still think they are only good for holiday camp entertainment mind...............

It's getting really pathetic how we have our own version of the PR game here in Digital Spy to get a thread attention. "John and Edward on the other hand are a couple of misbehaving, untalented kids who couldn't give a rats arse. They seem more like the kind of people likely to ride small bikes in your street, beat up your children and carry knives"

If that isn't trolling, I don't know what is.

Don't bite Jedward fans -- let this thread die quickly.

Sorry- WTF- John and Edward strike you as the 'kind of people likely to beat up your children and carry knives':

With such a perseptive ability to 'uncover' people's real personalities -You should immediately offer your 'psychic talents' to the police or MI5-

You could help prevent future crimes by letting us know 'what kind' people really - then they won't have to waste time looking for 'evidence'

Re-watch the video of their audition in front of Louis during the judges' houses section of the competition and its aftermath. They got terribly upset about one mis-sung note and thought they were out. They really do want to be in the competition and it means a lot to them.

Maybe shows the stupidity of holding unrealistic 'dreams' then - if J & E have no 'dreams' and are having a larf and have got further - I think I know who has the right approach!

In any case, I think this whole stupid Disneyfied 'dreams' rubbish explains why people or Lucie's generation can be such tosspots.

Loving your work, but judging by the replies I think the irony was lost on some

It is a bit unfair people are not voting for real talented singers, when it means so much for these singers to get through. However that is the way it goes.

They all have a dream, that is why they are there, just because you don't like someone, doesn't mean their dream is less valid,I am no fan of J&E but that was a nasty thing to say.

If only there were any to vote for...

IMHO, Joe's probably the best of the bunch, but he's lacking the passion in his performances that truly defines a 'singer'.

Cypher
