There is talk of recalling Lucie...

Like in the US shows where they had one chance to recall one contestant who was voted out. i think they used it last year. there is serious talk that they will use it to get Lucie back. What do you think...i think it is a waste of time as she will not make the top 5 anyway.

If you think it's a waste of time, why did you bother starting this topic?

As much as she MAY deserve it. It would not be a good idea because she'd probably be on the receiving end of the backlash that would come of it.
People may be glad to see her back, but it's already been proven that the voters wouldn't go out of their way to vote for her. She'd probably be eliminated again in a week or so, so it would be a waste of time and effort.

It would make Cowell look even more of a hypocrite and imbecile than he already does.

He said she cant win, so bringing her back would be pointless, unless his opinion on musical talent itself is even more worthless now that 'Ill leave the country if they win - they cant sing or dance and shouldnt even be here' comments about the twins before saving them made him look.

What is the source that you are using to start this rumour. Who is doing this serious talking?

Or are you just starting a silly rumour?

The OP has not defined WHO? is talking WHERE?

Just the OP or some people on the internet or some official actually connected with the programme?

I hate these threads made to look like some kind of fact with nothing to support or justify them.

Them people waste hours of their time debating thin air and nonsense for page after page.

If this is nothing more that an idea then WHY NOT STATE THAT in the op?

It wont happen, what with the complaints to ofcom. Didn't that happen with Big Brother when they put someone back in the house? There was uproar because loads of people complained that they had paid to vote to get rid of someone only to have them come back.

I think there was a £1Million+ fine involved.

I would be happy to see Lucie back, and I actually think the controvrsy would hlp her chances of winning or at east making the final, whch after all, never hurt JLS! She may have been a lot of people's 2nd or 3rd fav, so wih/le they like her, they may not have voted for her, but may if their favourite were to be eliminated

I've heard talk that they may use a pass to bring back an act this year - so as to gloss over the damage some incompetent producer orchestrated this past weekend.

no one paid to get rid of her though as it is a vote to save!!! i wish people would understand that!! and yes before you say, i did vote

as much as i would love for this to happen i doubt it ever would, nor would i want it to as it wouldnt do her any favours at all!!

Guys, she wasn't that good. She's a lovely girl but she was out of tune a lot. If she had of went out to any of the other acts, this crap wouldn't have happened.

It's backlash against, John and Edward, not support for Lucie.

If anyone should be brought back it is Rachel.

Totally agree with that.

I think it's more insulting to the public to put her back in. Although it's a vote to save not 'evict' as in Big Brother, by not voting for her, that put her at the bottom. So it was a public decision.

why so??? i liked rachel, but she had been in the bottom 2 3 times so it was kinda a given that she just didnt have the public support!!

the reason so many people are angry at the lucie/jedward saga is because of the way simon has treated the twins and how he has slated them, yet e praises lucie on saturday but then doesnt save her when it counts!! he's made himself to look a bit of a hypocrite!

It this the 'wildcard' that came up during the auditions phase?

I love Lucie, but the fact is that she got less votes thenthe twins.
Simon used that of course but even if he would have saved her, she would probably have been in the bottom 2 again this week.

They had the chance to save one contestant on the night (up until Top 5 IIRC), and the contestant (Matt I think) was saved there and then, the rule was in place before the Top 12 started and had been clearly stated, there's no such rule in place on XF so it won't be happening.

I posted on this forum 30 seconds after she was evicted that she would go back in lol and that everyone had wasted their money. So i'm a good predictor.

This time, Lucie wont go back in the show. Although it would be less controversial seeing as people didn't vote her out, just not enough people voted her in

I don't think she'd want to come back, would she? She polled the lowest votes so why on earth is there a public outcry when they could have saved all the bloomin hassle and voted properly for her in the first place! lol

And who would they send home in place? Unless Jamie decides to quit or ends up headbutting Simon and gets booted out lol!

If she'd lost out to Lloyd, there woud probably have been a similar backlash. Rachel did but although I hoped she would beat him because I don't like his voice, I wasn't too gutted because Iwoul have wanted her out over anyone else, excluding Kandy Rain but including Rikki (who I was as sad to see go as Lucie) and Miss Frank. Rachel wasn't connecting wih the public, and she lost out to Lloyd whe he was ill, so Simon hd ore of n excuse to take it to deadlock.

Jamie said on the Xtra-Factor that it wasn't true. He said he did have a disagreement with Simon but he never threatened to quit.
