Come on, let's face facts....

You have to ask yourself this, would you really buy a CD from any of the acts that are left?

I know that Lucie going has caused an uproar, but even if she had won I don't think I would have bought a CD of hers as she sounds like 3 million other better singers out there, and like many others still in the competition, she couldn't really adapt to singing outside of her comfort zone, so what was she gonna sing covers all day long? She didn't have a unique style and neither do any of the remaining acts. They are all a bit, well, robotic.

Let's look at who's left, and can you really honestly say you'd buy their music? I know I wouldn't. Yeah for sure, some of them can sing, but there are far far better musicians and performers out there.

They are either static, lifeless, lacking uniqueness or charisma of any description, predictable or have no talent at all.

I feel the winner this year will just end up in the wilderness like Michelle Mcmanus or Steve Brookstein, just all a waste of time.

Just my opinion.

No, but I wouldn't but anything by most contestants in any year. Although I like Leona, I don't think I'd even buy her CD. I think many, many people watch the show for fun, have their favourites and those they're less keen on but wouldn't actually buy anything produced by a contestant.

I would never buy any X Factor CD. The music is just too poor.

I don't think Luice would have been a success.

I reckon Joe could probably shift a few albums and have a solid career - the middle of the road market he would appeal to is big.

Danyl has potential but I wouldn't put money on him being successful.

Can't see the others lasting at all.

There is no doubt that there are "some" good singers, but none of them are anything special at all. Even though I do have some faves in there, there still isn't anybody unique, there is no wow factor about any of them. They are just very good bar singers at best.

I don't know, I think his voice is too soft and will end up being another Michael Buble but nowhere near as good.

I've never bought a CD by any of the contestants so far and don't think I ever will. It's about the Saturday night entertainment for me, not the music.

I have got a couple of Lemars albums btu didn't actually watch Fame Academy.

I never really bother buying any X Factor CDs - the songwriting is really dire and always revolves around love/relationships and such. Too middle of the road for me. Even the album titles lack creativity because it always relates to the singer's 'emotions' or 'personal journey', or just something really corny in general.

Due to circumstance maybe? She has a nice voice but I've not seen enough variations from her to say yeah I like her she's awesome... For sure though she can definately sing brilliantly. I think she would have smashed it if she did a Celine Dion song.. But then who likes Celine Dion!??

I would buy one of Danyl's Ollie's or Jamie's.

Stacey if it was a certain type of music. Joe I would prefer to see in the theatre, and Lloyd/John and Edward I am not that bothered about.

I'd probably buy something by Danyl... I especially like some of the pre-X-Factor stuff that's out there and would like to hear more from him post-comp.

The only X Factor related act I will be buying this year is JLS's album - for my 86yr old gran who absolutely adores them.

Nope. Nor would I from any of the acts who have gone. In terms of talent this series has been and is awful.

If it was the winner's CD it would just be manufactured rubbish, so no I wouldn't buy it.

If you want a Jamie or Danyl album why waste the money? Simply put an old Bonnie Tyler album on, on slow speed, close your eyes and you'll never know the difference.

For Joe simply go to the bargain bucket of any HMV and invest £1.50 in Leon Jackson's X Factor winning effort, and think of Joe while you're listening.

To listen to Olly you could really treat yourself, buy yourself a ticket for a cruise, every night in the Stardust Lounge, he or someone just like him will be warbling their way through Shake it Up Baby and other 50/60s classics.

Or, there's this strange thing that I've heard about, apparently some artists never entered a talent show and got recording contracts based on their voice, ability to write original material and understanding of music. I don't know if it's true or not, it sounds a bit like an urban myth to me, still, it's worth a look.
