If Lloyd had gone last week...

like he should have, and the twins this week, then we would finally have a singing competition. Simon takes American Idol so seriously, but he seems to take X-Factor like some kind of joke. Me along with many others are now voting J&E each week, in the (slim) hope they'll win and show Simon that some of us did class the X-Factor as a singing competition. The viewing figures are not up to 15 million because of two rubbish Irish singers.

J&E to win and ruin the show, which is obviously what SyCo want.

Whats the point in doing this? I think its quite clear that he wants the twins to go far in the competition and wouldn't mind them winning..

If your going to vote for the people that Simon doesn't want to win Vote for either Stacey or Llyod.

No I think he just wants the twins to go far because of the publicity, I don't think he wants them to win, he knows it would kill the show, and as he's trying to get it started in the US, the twins are not the best poster children for the show.

I think Simon wants the twins to come fourth, and have an all over 25's final. I think he wants (and believes) that Olly will win though.

Try reading it, it's written in English. This is a forum where people put across points of view and opinions, and two others put across their views in this thread. Don't like it, close your browser.

Edit: Just seen some of your posts, don't go onto me about pointless posting. You're the queen of it.

Don't you think that by doing that you're actually showing him the opposite?

You are confusing incisive comment, normally done with a degree of humour with pointless posting.

This is what I shall be doing.-

5 votes for the Twins
3 for Joe, Lloyd and Stace.
0 for the overs.

Maybe it's slightly unfair but I really despise Simon & I have money to burn so why not.

I wonder if Simon is becoming senile in his old age and thinks Jedward are Zig and Zag.

Two annoying puppets with Simon Cowells hand up their asses....and Zig and Zag

Sorry, was my first day back yesterday after a holiday and I got a bit defensive (tired). Offers olive branch and a virtual bag of jelly babies..

I still don't think my post was pointless, but we'll agree to disagree

Different situations. American Idol he can just be a judge. In X Factor he has to think about the network, ratings, ad revenue, voting revenue, the jobs of hundreds of people.

I think he basically has a conflict of interest with the X Factor.

Oh, and off topic, regarding Cheryl's dress last week (weird pen top discs), did anyone notice Beyonce had the same dress on at the MTV EMAs last week? Still didn't make it any less ugly,

If LLoyd had went the week he was in the bottom, I still think we would have Lucie as I think Rachel would have gone last week

Looking for Simsy

Wrong forum I know but please excuse. If Simsy on this forum is the same one as this one "Looking to get back into playing after a few years out of the saddle. Mainly a Fiddle player but also rythmn guitar, singer" could you please contact me through my email on my profile as there is a band forming in a nearby town that may interest you. And I am unable to contact you on the other forum.
Apologies to all no disrespect intended.

I don't really understand this - you think it should be a singing competition and rightfully the twins should go soon, and yet you're voting for them? Isn't that just implying that the public don't want a singing competition?

It was my weird reasoning, that I believed it was a singing competition, yets Simons complete hypocrisy made me believe he'd like the twins to stay in for the publicity, but not to win. So I was going to vote for them so they'd win and prove Simon had shot himself in the foot. It made sense in my head
