Looks like that Show is cheap. Can't look up to the Orginal Office.

I didn't think it was that bad...... it certainly could have ben a heck of a lot worse.

Good casting and bloke who plays the Brent character does the role very well. On the down side they cut out a lot for time reasons including most of the Tim/Gareth stuff - that extra 7 minutes is a long time. The Tim/Dawn thing is a written/played a little bit to obvious as well

I was just thinking about this last night and how I can see it. Where did you watch it or get it from?

It isn't supposed to be exactly the same as the original is it? There are going to be differences.

Don't have to apologize if you didn't like it; although I strongly believe that you came into it with your opinion already firmly made .

As somebody who hasn't seen much of The Office UK, I can say that it seems to have captured the essence of the show and Brent but has fallen by the wayside a bit in the terms of how funny it looks. It seems a bit too forced.

Lordy Lordy Lord!
It's like some surreal world that has stolen jokes from The Office and made them not funny at all.

Gervais & Merchant wanted it to be their scripts. There are some local changes ('head office' is 'corporate' in the US version) and the programme is shorter because US programmes are. Apart from that the script is the same

The Promo was bad. I don't it'll do well. Gervias and Merchant have created a comedy classic and anyone trying to redo it will fail. It may appeal to people who haven't UK version but it does air constanly on BBCAMERICA so I think those people are few are far between. Dreadful promo! Its like a dead ringers stechtch! Garreth is awful and Pam aka dawn seems boring!

I didn't think it was that bad actually, I quite enjoyed it. It could have been a lot worse, hopefully it will do well over there but I just think it isn't american enough for the americans. It really hard for us the give options on it when we've seen the UK version, we're grown with the UK cast so of course its going to see odd to us. You also have to remember its aimed at a US audience so it might not be that funny to us, also the majority of the US audience wont have seen the UK version so wont have as many 'issues' with it.
