Just quickly tuned in and did they just have on the woman who did the "voice" for Meat Loaf's I'd do anything for love?

I was channel hopping an caught bits...how was she, did she get though..

I always thought the fit on in the vid was the one who sung it as id seen her in other meat vids

the girl who sung,wasnt in the video,the used someone else.

A bit like when Phoebe was in the Smelly Cat video, but she wasn't singing.

I'm glad she got through, she deserves a chance.

I was lucky enough to see her on the XF tour in Glasgow (I met her that night too.

) and she was awesome. Can't wait to see her in her first proper tour.

Lucky you! I was gonna go the the tour in Nottingham, but it was snowing to much so I couldn't go in the end. Me neither, I'm gonna try to get to as many venues as possible!

Meatloaf girl was strikingly nervous. We know she has a strong voice (Meat wouldn't have chosen her to be his backing singer if not) but she sounded weak on last night's show. She must've been *cacking* herself. I'm glad the judges can distinguish nerves from a lack of talent... I guess they've had enough practice.

I was wrong, she joined just after, she was on the video and now is the singer with meatloaf along with his daughter.

As another person has said further down her name was Mrs Loud, I have found out her full name is Lorraine Crosby, was this what she was called last night?

I'm very glad she got through, you just have to listen to I'd Don Anything For Love... to know that she can sing! I mean everybody knows the words to the part that Lorraine sings (I think)

Kind of freaky but when I hear some Meat Loaf songs I sometimes think I wonder why no one ever mentions the women that sings with Meat Loaf? Why isn't she just as famous.

I was also a bit raging to learn that apparently she never really made any money out of that song where as Meat Loaf made millions. It was number for so many weeks and was thebiggest selling single of that year!!! As Kate Thornton said it is one of the biggest selling songs ever!!!

I liked her a lot but am not sure if that's because she was brilliant on the Meatloaf song. Not surprisingly, she sounded nervous last night but I'm sure she'll be great when she gets a bit of confidence.

Verity was ok but she didn't have the guts to sing live in the studio. I'm thinking Lorraine but blossom at this stage, if she gets there.

she was a singer in a club band called FOXY late 80's early 90's remember the band got a new las in for the christmas gigs at the mayfair in newcastle i was working with a lad called TJ King at the time

Thought she was much, much more appealing than Verity - more attractive, better voice and just seemed a nicer person and more deserving of a second chance.

Reminded me more of Rowetta in a way - a woman with a great voice, great looks who just hadn't had her turn in the limelight. - and look how it's turned out for Rowetta -

Think it must be very nerve wracking for those who have already had limited success - they 'know' to a certain extent that they are good, but it must be sort of humilating in a way to stand before the panel of judges and plead to be given another go -
