The Oscars....

Saw a thread on the betting, and where is it being shown...but not one on the show itself. So hope this is okay to post.

Is anyone else going to be watching?

Just a heads up that 'on the red carpet' starts at 10.30pm for all those with 'E!', followed by 'The Oscars' on Sky Movies one at 12.05pm.

I haven't missed a show in ten years....but boy I wish BBC still had it!

I have to watch it on the sofa now.....not all cuddled up in my bed, as we don't have Sky upstairs.

I doubt us Brits will do that well but I will have EVERYTHING crossed for 'Wallace and Gromit' to win best animation film.

I've got my flask of tea ready, plus my hot water bottle. I can't post and watch at the same time as my puter is in the office, and TV downstairs (I really must get everything in my bedroom! ) but just wanted to know that I am not the only one who stays up all night for this. I wasn't here this time last year, so have no idea...but I hope I am not the only person watching in the wee small hours of the morning!

The last time i saw it live was in 2004 on BBC1 with Wossy!!!....I will catch a few hours tonight if possible. As i don't have sky movies i will have to re-tune to some German station to catch it live!!!!

I know..it's annoying isn't it...Sky getting everything, like the 'oscars,' cricket...

Anyway..the old red carpet is starting now and I hope Joan Rivers is there and her botox! I quite like her actually.

Hope everyone enjoys it tongiht.

I'm watching the red carpet on the E! channel. Some gay guy is doing it this year.

Where's Joan Rivers?

I seriously need to get Sky Movies. Shame on the BBC for not fighting harder for the rights.

Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger really don't go well together. She is lovely but he seems to treat her like an arm ornament.

Oh well that's good if it's true, about heath letting Michelle go out to work.

I'm watching E! also and will watch the Oscars on Sky Movies 1! I must be crazy! I do it every year and the next day I feel like ............ uch!!!!!!!!!

What do you think of the presenters? That guy Isaac Mizrahi (the one that's doing the fashion) is absolutely awful and is totally ruining this programme. I personally watch it for the interviews etc and this guy does not know how to interview someone.

Where the hell is Joan Rivers or Starr Jones?

Joan was the absolute best - why isn't she doing it anymore?

Ooops!!!

I had to just pop on here as I cannot stand that bloke on the carpet! George *swoon* Clooney and Eric Bana were ad libbing with him and being funny and he totally ignore what they were saying and just carried on.

Don't like him at all.

Not a huge fan of Keira as an actress but she looks beautiful tonight (except I am not so fond of her hair.....it looks like mine does when I get up! Miaow me!) But she is stunning..love her dress.

Rachel Weiz looks stunning all in black and I only saw she was still pregnant when she turned round..she looked very slim from the front.

George looks yummy...but I don't recognise half the people as I haven't been to the cinema much this year (which hasn't gone down well with my cineworld card! )

My OH laid out the sofa for me with a bottle of wine, a flask of tea, a hot water bottle...and a bag of jam doughnuts! I'll feel crap tomorrow but hey..it's only once a year!

Now do we go to Sky movies now or stick with E!

Choices choices.
