Will this work for SKY HD?

I live in an appartment block with a communal dish for Sky. I've been given a sheet as ref for setting up Sky+ and was wondering what would be the best route for getting the 2nd LNB for the + functionality on the HD box.

Basically there's a SMATV feed into the lounge (Radio, SAT & TV) on one plate and then a Blank Plate behind which a 2nd feed runs to the bedroom (I have a pdf if anyone needs to look at)

Can it be taken from behind the Blank Plate as its next to the original feed or run from the bedroom? Also, do you think a Sky installer would be able to do as a complete new install?

TIA

Colin

id recommend getting an independant sat shop to sort the plate.
if it is another tri plate in the bedroom like the one in the room you could if you wish have it terminated and have both feeds in the living room.
but bear in mind you would lose signal in bedroom as it would require cutting it.
what you could then do is feed rf2 to the bedroom. from the rest of cable in the room. ie fitting a tv plate where blanking plate is and the same in the bedroom.

either way ya can only have one or the other either sky+/hd or
multiroom but with 2 single boxes

Thanks vekky2004

Was guessing it would have to be done something along the lines you have mentioned. Have just been given the number of the installers of the Communal system so will see what they have to say.

Oh dear mate, your gona have problems there,
If your i a communial area your gonna be a bit stuck,
If they are new builds you ca get in contact with the building developer and explain the situation to them,
We have this problem all the time and there`s no way around it, unless the builder /electritions can be recalled in to relocate the cable for you
If they can`t i`m affraid you`ll be stuck with just the standard system (no sky + or hd)
