at last someone else that has the same problem as me. im slightly older than you.....
and have had this problem for years, at 37 you would think it would of sorted itself out a bit , but no. still a size 8. finding clothes to fit is a nightmare. anyway why not try complan.. i found that helps... and try not to worry as that in itself always makes me lose more weight... good luck in finding a cure.......

My partner was the same... her parents used to feed her cream cakes all the time etc but still she was always a size 8 (and in some clothes a 6)
She hit 42 and suddenly it all changed... looking at a cream cake puts on 6lbs |

When I was your age, I was as thin as a whippet too. At 14, I was about 5' 9" I think , and weighed about 9 stone (and I'm male BTW). If I looked at myself in the mirror I was puny and you could see my ribs, without me having to breathe in. After about age 20, you begin to put on weight much more easily. I'm now 6' 2" and weigh 14.5 stone. I personally would just eat naturally. I think you can harm your health by deliberately trying to alter your weight too much, either up or down. Eat when you're hungry. |

i was a skinny guy when i was in my mid teens - at 16 i was 6ft and 8.5 stone
now im 6'2 and 15 stone, yay ![]() you may not want to take the same route i did, but maybe something similar might help you - weight lifting and "bulk" dieting. Although not to the extent that i did. try to keep meals consistent, eat before you get hungry (hunger burns fat away, fat you need to store) and eat before you go to bed. Eating to gain weight doesn't mean gorging cheeseburgers, stick to potatoes/pasta/cereals for carbs and chicken/fish/beef for proteins. or someothing like that |

yes, i do weight training. was 19, 5ft 12 and 11.3stones at my weight training peak. now down to 10stones and am 20yrs old. trying to get a flat stomach through pure cardio training and a clean diet.diet is crucial to everything !!! keep to proper foods and eat 4-5 times a day with no snacks. i.e. pasta, sweet potatoes, wholemeal bread, chicken, tuna, read lean meat, etc cook and grill rather than frying |

I'm 22 and trying to put on weight as well. I find that when I do eat fatty foods, my stomach just gets bloated for a few hours and then I'm back to normal weight again. My brother has the same problem as well. He is trying those milkshakes, but its not been working.

Read the advice on any of the 'How do I lose weight' threads and do the opposite.
