Who here reads the daily sport?

Just looking for a head count really

Not entirely convinced anyone buys it, so just seeing if we had any members who bought it.

The Sport along with the Morning Star surely must be the two publications that no-one will ever admit to reading?

If you find a copy in the toilets at work the pages are always stuck together.

There's nothing wrong with reading the Morning Star. I always get it when I'm in London, as they don't sell it where I live.

Twofnine - you are joking, right?

I've only ever seen one person ever read it on a train (not me, I hasten to add) - suffice to say they met every stereotype of a Daily Sport reader ...

I read it by mistake in the pub the other night - I thought I was reading the Express because they duplicate a lot of stuff like the TV pages, football reports etc. Another night I picked up the Pink Paper by mistake and thought I was reading the Sun - it was full of stories about gay-bashing.

Well at least Victoria Newton can offer her services to them after she 'leaves' The Sun.

At least with the Star, they openly admit their paper is full of birds and sport.

I bought it for the site manager when it first came out, and it was a sunday paper at this time; called the Sunday Sport.

The lads thought it was a paper covering sport, but it was a paper full of birds, tits everwhere, as the guys said

I read it when it first came out, it was like a comic. Stories about buses on the moon and spider babies were classic. It all got a bit pervy after that, stories about sexual assaults all the time and pics of women on EVERY page. You get a bit old for that now i just read the sun for a quick peek at page 3!! WAHAY

i've read the Morning Star a few times, its a bit thin for the money though

i once bought a book collecting Sport stories together, such gems as buses found on the moon and men being strangled by their own socks

I wouldn't touch such smut with a bargepole. Of course it would be called something more innocent like The Sunday Sport so as to mask its sub-pornographic image. Could you imagine it if it was called something more relevent like The Sunday Tits? Yes, the average man buys it because he likes his football or rugby, hence the "sport" connection! If I want to be stimulated, I wouldn't buy the newspaper - I would buy Woman's Own and stare at the fashion pages instead!

(Of course if The Sunday Sport doesn't satisfy one's tastes for naked breasts, one could always buy one of these Mother and Baby magazines and be stimulated by the illustrations acompanying the regular breastfeeding features that appear in those magazines. Just a thought, mind...)

Or a nipple count, as it went in the 1990s.
