TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Merged)

Hey Wrestling fans any of you looking forward for TNA wrestling to start on Bravo 2 this month. Only a couple of days behind from when its shown in USA .

I was happy when i heard the wrestling Channel had lost the rights to TNA wrestling as NTL dont seem to have any plans to get Wrestling Channel.
Then i heard its gonna be on Bravo 2 which i was abit gutted about aswell as Bravo 2 not on NTL but i hear the channel is coming to NTL very soon as it says on bravo 2 web site.

Im looing forward to watch more TNA wrestling now and there pay per views for free on Bravo 2, but WWE will still always be my number 1 but the more wrestling to watch on tv the better. .

Well on the Bravo 2 web site it says it already is on NTL even though its not as i looked through all my channels but i asked other people and they seem to think February that Bravo 2 will be on NTL.

I never really got to watch TNA that much with it being on TWC in past but i like what i see , watch it on Eurosport aswell but there covrage is very poor.

Be great watching all the TNA shows and Pay Per Views for free carnt wait.

Sadly Danny17 is wrong. TNA is far from awesome. It is a confusing, rushed mess. It is filled with ridiculous segments, bad acting and you will be forced to endure the worst commentary team in Wrestling history in Mike Tenay and Don West.
Even TNAs saving grace which was producing really good wrestling matches is long gone. Granted there is some great matches on the pay per views occasionaly but the tv shows are full of matches in the range of 1-2 minutes which have no time to develop.
So, I would recommend not watching. Unless of course you want a headache afterwards.

Have to agree there, it's not a patch on the WWE.

Now you know why Tenay lost his job with WCW coz he was rubbish, as for Don West they could have used Adam "Batman" West to be honest

Well I've been a fan of the WWF since Wrestlemania 4 and I enjoy watching TNA a great deal.

Sure, they have their problems - Vince Russo being booker for one, but they're still only 4 years in so they will get better.

I'm not one of these people who think that because the WWF is biggest, it's automatically the best, so i'll stick with TNA.

Anyway, I'm over the moon that TWC have lost the rights because I watched it on Bravo 2 last night and the picture quality was light years ahead of anything TWC have ever broadcast - it was pin sharp and perfect and I can't wait for Turning Point, which will probably be the 17th as the PPV's are supposed to now be on a 3 day delay.

(And yes, I know they're "WWE nowadays, but I still think of them as the WWF as i've always known them as that)

WWF has gone down hill over the year, they're interested in tacky cheap shock rather than excellent set pieces from the wrestling matches.

TNA has a long way to go

I think when Impact goes to two hours (and it will if current U.S. ratings are anything to go by) and they get rid of Vince Russo, they will rise even faster.

I can't fathom how anyone would let him book the whole VKM angle when there's no obvious payoff ??

The angle can't end without TNA looking completely stupid because the WWF are never, ever going to acknowledge them.

The picture quality on TWC has always been a bit dodgy at the best of times , so hopefully Bravo do look like they have got a clue what they are doing

That person was lying to you. Unlike ECW, the hardcore WCW fans had deserted it long before it went under. Plus Vince McMahon took immense pleasure in legitimately killing it.

Bad management, overly political booking, too much money spent on hiring over the hill stars who basically wrote their own contracts and a sucession of people who had no idea on how the business worked.

Stars at the top of the card who refused to help elevate the guys at the bottom or mid card.

Hulk Hogan had creative control over his character and even got a fairly hefty chunk of the revenue for whatever PPV he was booked on.

And on and on and on

Whilst you can never say never in wrestling, I think the people behind TNA won't go down the same road as WCW.

And with WCW, I wouldn't say that Vince will never bring it back because if he felt he could make money out of it, he would.

I just can't see it happening any time soon.

Well considering (the co-owner and) most of the wrestlers are from wcw it is not really copying it is more like deja vu all over again.
When WWE boughtout wcw in 2001 most of these guys like AJ Styles, Daniels and Joe were all in (wcw's development circuit and then had to cross over to) OVW but they were released because wwe didn't think they were good enough

I thought it was stated that we would only be a week behind the US airings of TNA. But it seems last saturday's episode of Impact was the episode that aired on 28/12/06 which means we are exactly in the same positon has when it was on TWC

Joe was in UPW; that's the closest he's got to being part of WWF or OVW. He wasn't let go by them.

AJ Styles turned down an offer from them also.

VKM are not "two jealous guys" for gods sake.

They are two employees of a wrestling company who are performing a storyline written out for them by the writers.

The VKM angle was always going nowhere because the WWE would have never acknowledged it in any way, so it seemed pointless putting so much time and energy into an angle that had no payoff.

Although I see on the latest "Impact" that VKM plan to declare "victory" at Turning Point, so I imagine this will be the end of the angle hopefully.

Didn't you hear the news about Vince shutting down all PPV press conferences from now on because too many fans were chanting "TNA" "TNA" "TNA" and bringing VKM signs

In fact the wwe have implemented a crack down on any TNA or VKM signs at all events and shows (amongst other things any anti-babyface signs too like "CENA SUX")

I'd say that is quite a payoff wouldn't you? the fact that they (wwe) are going to these lengths is kind of embarassing, you can't act like you are the numer 1 show in town and sh** on your loyal fanbase with mediocrity then be surprised when some fans chant for an alternative. Since 2001 wwe have been in shambles why because now they have no organisation to copy from. The whole so-called attitude era was really a diet version of what ECW lived by but that is another story

It's not a payoff, no.

WWE have long been known for removing signs from fans at shows, televised or otherwise.

I went to Summerslam 92 at Wembley stadium and watched security wander round confiscating signs from people so it's not as if it's a direct consequence of the VKM angle.

I haven't heard about the press conferences, but to be honest, I personally find it hard to believe he'd simply discontinue them because of rowdy fans - but I don't know.

The WWE were never going to publicly acknowledge VKM or TNA in any way, so the whole idea of getting Vince to "stop", or even the million dollar challenge, was a complete waste of time.

It's like me challenging Hulk Hogan to a match. He'd never even acknowledge my existence, let alone accept the challenge so what's the point ?.

Although I must say I am interested to see how they ultimately end it though.

Suggesting that the TNA and WWE official threads may be the best place for these discussions
