Richard and Judy's shameless promotion of their children

Richard and Judy mentioned and shamelessly promoted their children and their presenting on Big Brother's Big Mouth a lot of times on today's programme, complete with clips from the show... before showing interviewing them and showing more clips of them!

They haven't bothered to interview any other people on about their presenting on Big Brother's Big Mouth.

By the way, their daughter Chloe can't seem to pronounce her own name properly; she pronounces it more like 'Claire'.

I suppose the network won't be bothered if they keep pimping their kids show. Is it on C4 or E4 or something?

Not interested in R&J or their offspring I'm afraid.

Jack Madeley Adrenaline Junkie .... coming soon

By the way, I've sent Chloe a friend request on Facebook. Do you think she will accept?

Why? Are you a friend of hers?

Why shouldn't they promote their children? Any normal parent would...

This must be the most sad place in the world. Nobody likes anybody or anything.

Its hardly surprising they would give their own children a mention for their first presenting job! Most parents that actually liked their children would do the same.

Incidentally, Chloe is stunning. She has inherited some of her mothers better features and with the dress she was wearing I was hoping she might repeat her mothers "performance" at the 2000 NTA awards!

Chloe's a stunner, however both of them were wooden on last night's BBBM.

Doesn't Jack sound like his dad?

Another OFCOM fine on its way, for undue product placement?

well that's true, but she does have a hint of her Dad in there.

Going after her would be like the episode of Peep Show where Jez get's off with Marks sister. She was gorgeous too but with all the mannerism's of Mark (tickety boo, etc)

Be Wary !

Why should they be ashamed though? Surely it's a good thing to be proud of your children; at least they have turned out well and seem like reasonable human beings.

Shameless bit of plugging of the Madeley kiddies.

It's like watching a couple of Richard and Judy mini-me's!! Spooky.

I agree. It can be a bit disheartening. I enjoy poking fun at R & J myself, but more as a bit of light hearted fun than "I hate the b*stards!! Shoot them both!"

I wish people would leave Richard and Judy alone. If you don't like them don't watch their programme!

It's all wheels within wheels these days.

Time will tell as to whether they'll be good enough to sustain a career.

So you agree with the blatant nepotism that sees them promoting their kids' careers on national TV do you?

A tv show is not a 'product'.

You are allowed to promote other tv shows.

Have you seen This Morning during X Factor?

I don't see anything wrong with having them on the show. Fern Britton's husband is on This Morning all the time, John Stapleton's wife is on GMTV a lot, Jonathan Ross played a trailer for his wife's new film, Paul O'Grady always has his friends on and Dermot O'Leary interviewed 2 of the people from his girlfriend's show on BBLB.

It's no different to interviewing anyone you know about any new project they have got. It's no surprise you're going to have guests that you know personally.

I don't mean being ashamed of the children; I mean the plugging and promoting! All through the programme!

I like it. They do some very interesting topics. And I prefer it to Paul O'Grady.

Not sure about that YouTube clip segment, though. And all the clips were funny today, except one of two boys miming to the Crazy Frog song. And which did they choose to put into the top 5? The two boys miming. How is a nobody miming to a song in any way entertaining?

They have probably only got the gig because of who their parents are. I have noticed that R&J have suddenly started to promote BB, having ignored it for the past ten weeks.

Yes, unquestionably connections count. Life's like that though. No end of celebrities who are now household names might not be celebrities at all if it wasn't for their parents.

And to be fair to Richard and Judy, you can't really blame them for wanting to help their children as much as possible. Especially when it's a good marketing move for their own show too. My guess is that many of Richard and Judy's audience are genuinely interested in the presenters' children, and so it's probably a case of personal and professional interests co-inciding.

Dickie must have his fingers crossed. He's had the snip, so this is one big shot at building a TV dynasty to rule the airwaves for the next 10 millennia (cackle, cackle, evil laugh)

It's a tragedy that his son isn't called Fernando

No you'll get arrested for stalking.

I saw her pic a few years back and she was quite foxy. However she's going to end looking like Judy.
