Question RE Gun Plot Eastenders (warning of spoilers) - Soaps

Now we all know.......

Jane gets shot accidently by Steven

but there is a rumour that the person this happens to finds out something that effects them for the rest of their life. I wonder if anyone has found out what this is ? Perhaps I am way behind in the news as I haven't kept up to date with this forum in a few weeks.

Anyway, I wondered if it hasn't been said, then could this be the reason (this isn't really a spoiler as it is a guess, but it does re-mention the person who gets shot).......

When in bed in hospital Jane briefly talks with Ian about having another child. I wondered if maybe the problem could be that Jane can no longer have kids due to the bullet damage ?

Ian probably could have more children if he had his vasectomy reversed.

He did say he and Jane could try for a baby a couple of years back but Jane decided to put those plans on hold. I guess he decides he'd quite like to have a child with Jane again. Jane has always wanted a baby and he knows it would make her happy.

This is incorrect!! Jane finds out that she has breast cancer whilst she is in hospital!! My sis told me yesterday!!

Your "sis" is wrong

Jane has to have her womb removed, leaving her (obviously) with absolutley zero chance of ever falling pregnant.
