Doctor Who Christmas Special - "Voyage of the Damned" 25/12/07 18:50

Umm...I hope no one minds, but I ... erm... sorta thought I'd take it upon myself to make the Episode discussion thread, as is tradition here on Digital Spy. I feel a tad cocky and arrogant doing this, but someone has to do it! And I haven't done it before...So...sorry if I've hogged someone's thunder and ruined their Christmas

Anyway!

Doctor Who, the Christmas special, starring David Tennant and Kylie Minouge as The Doctor and Astrid.

[Once the episode has aired] what did everyone think of it? What were the best / worst bits in your opinion? Feel free to discuss!

And Merry Christmas everyone!

As long as someone sets up a thread, that is what matters

Thank you for setting it up and bring on David Tennant's third series as The Doctor

Hold on this isn't on. Starting a thread one and half hours before the programme starts is completely out of order.

It should be at least two days before.

Enjoy all, I'm looking forward to it. Going to turn my PC off as I want to give my full attention to the programme rather than miss a bit reading and typing (I don't feel like multi-tasking tonight). Going to put the telephone off the hook too....catch you all later for a post show review

One day I'll get to start one of these threads!!

Well, for once I won't be able to tear myself away from the TV to come post here how much I'm enjoying the episode or not
because my family is actually gathering round the TV set as I type to prepare for our newest Christmas tradition: the Dr Who Christmas special! (TBH I just think they're fans of Kylie, like last year when Catherine Tate dragged them in!)

Oh well, I'm sure I'll miss all of the key points in the episode because I'll be explaining the basics to them over and over......(He's a timelord, not human, that's why he can do thatl....and that....and that! ) so I hope you lot won't mind when I turn up later and ask the most stupid and obvious questions!

I like the new theme. Kylie will ruin this for me though, can't stand her botoxed face.

And we're back to LondonCardiff...

Loving the fact people in London are terrified to go out at Christmas because something happens every bloody year.

So where was she when a certain popular motion picture appeared some time back?

Oh how convenient - the Tardis lands in London, of all the places on earth.
