Alex Curran/Gerrard

Is it just me or does anyone else not get why she is lauded over as some sort of style icon?

Even amongst the WAGS, she stands ou for me as looking very cheap and nasty and the type of girl who can make Parda look like Primark. She always looks really downmarket, over made up and just plain cheap imo.

Plus, she always looks about 35 to me. I was very shocked to find out how old she actually is.

She gets on my wick too. She's almost radioactive she so orange and she's only really famous because of who she's married to.

I agree she does look alot older than she is. She's always in OK magazine and has her own style page in the Mirror but she's still only 'famous' because of who shes married to imo.

She looks exactly what she is, or was before she hooked up with her meal ticket.

When I read about her in magazines she says she just wants to be a mother and a good wife.

Who?? Oh, her - the most day-glo orange of all WAGs.

They once printed a picture of her pre-Gerrard - God, has she aged since then. Why do they insist on caking on the fake stuff?? She looks positively middle-aged now.

Shame her face could hardly move for the industrial-thickness make-up, seemingly applied with a garden trowel.

Apparently Elvis called from the grave that day too; he wanted his quiff back.

Utter mess of a woman- a friend of mine from Liverpool said she's generally considered some sort of Queen Bee in social circles, and is the prototype for the blonde 'GHD and Range Rover' type of girl.

She's even got her own fragrance. Er....why?

And there we were thinking the sheer pointless existence of Jade Goody's signature fragrance couldn't be topped.

Alex bloody Curran?? Who the hell would want to wear a perfume with some footballer's bint's name on the bottle??!

Apparently, theres a market out there for women who want that smell that says 'council estate bird who's now married to the worlds most boring man and looks like she's been dipped in Ronseal'.

I can't help wondering what it smells like...that 'wet dog' aroma you get a couple of hours after you've applied fake tan, maybe?

Are any DSers brave enough to admit they've bought a bottle?

*tumbleweed*

Absolutely bloody not!!

I would think most people would be too ashamed to ever admit to it.

Can't take a lot of perfume, most make my sinuses ache like buggery. However, I am willing to admit I like the smell of Vicky B's perfume, but not enough to own a bottle.

One bottle of that, or a weekends worth of Cider, no contest, the cider wins! I'm dead classy, me!

That's basically because Vicky B's perfume is *cough* Dior's Pure Poison in different packaging *cough*

In my humble opinion of course.

I can't really comment on her style, but I do know that Alex is ALLEGEDLY a nasty piece of work - a few years ago on a night out in Liverpool she dragged a girl out of a taxi by the hair because "she saw it first".

She's more than partial to a bit of 'cola' too.
