I hated the song Hello but I sure did love how David put a spin on it. Cant wait to see what he sings this week with it being Beatles week its should be a good one.

Count me in too

Can't wait to see what he does with the Beatles.
He does have a unique tone to his voice.

I do like David A as well, but my money is on David C.

David C's my favourite too - not sure yet if he'll win, but he should!

His performances have consistently been better than the other Idols' (this series) and I doubt that's gonna stop now - can't wait to see how he handles his Beatles song. Should be a great week for him!

I couldn't

spoiler:
Just watched it on Justjared, didn't see the judges comments, but thought it was a stonking version, nice air of brooding about it

Just watched it on youtube with the judges comments.
Randy thought it was Rockin
Paula thinks he's the dark horse ( thoroughbred none less )

and Simon thought It was Brilliant and that he could win.

I thought It was Brilliant and can't wait to see the show proper tomorrow.

as long as it stays as a talent competition and not a popularity contest

I also like it, and I like his personality (or what comes across from the show)
Where is he knocked about?

hasn't simon said a few times that he is lacking in personality and charisma. the week of the "word nerd", he said that the VT wouldn't help him at all and then this week he said that if the show was a talent contest he would win but not if it was a popularity contest.

Definately my favourite.

Love his voice and adored his interpretations of 'Hello' and 'Eleanor Rigby'

He's got that absolute confidence in himself when performing that is totally mesmorising.

Really don't understand what Simon is on about regarding personality - think David Cook oozes charisma and stage presence.

But then, I often disagree with Simon over personality - Leona Lewis bores me to absolute tears, whereas Simon thinks she's the most exciting thing since slice bread.

I really didn't like David in the first couple of weeks but boy did he turn me around. He's one of my favourites now.

Loved "Eleanor Rigby" and agreed, he'd win a personality contest if I was judging too

Charisma-wise, I think the judges are playing the opposites game with David and Michael!

Can't wait until next week!

Much as i like Davids style vocals and think he is a good contestant.

David Cooks version of ER should have been buried in that church - it sucked big time.
