According to AGB Nielsen, the new Discovery Science +1 will be using the former Discovery Channel +1.5 space as from tomorrow.

It was the old Rapture channel space, I assume Discovery bought it up and used it to save the space and get an EPG space.

This label has been around for at least the last five years.
It is a "feed" for the American CNN Radio Network of stations
and any other station that wants to take it
so no point in listing it as testing, as it clearly is not..
So this time sorry no credit.
However,
If you find a new label, they are usually put up on a Tuesday or Friday
but there have been other days you will indeed get your credit
or I could just put you in the contributors list at the bottom of the page like everyone else.
Anyhoo! you'll need to be quick and find those labels
as there are quite a few really good label spotters See here from a few weeks back

I think IMF: International Music Feed is unlikely to launch as it has shut down in the USA.

Because it is encrypted so you can not watch it.

It has the 'five' message because '55300' is the fifth entry in you 'extra channels'. 'five' is fifth entry in EPG.

If you made it the first entry in your 'extra channels' it would have a BBC1 subscription message - BBC1 is 1st entry in EPG.

Good to know. I would never claim to be a fan of action or extreme sports, but having watched the tests for Rush HD on and off over the past few weeks, I'm actually looking forward to the arrival of the channel. There are some really interesting programmes, not to mention the scenery featured in many programmes looks stunning in HD.

Biz Asia: '9X' UK launch imminent

http://media247.co.uk/bizasia/newsar...sive_9x_uk.php

"The broadcaster has been locked in talks with one particular channel about a Sky Digital EPG buyout for the past few months."

Perhaps the channel will be taking over the DD-News slot?

^^

Looking at the programmes listed on the EPG for Discovery +1.5, they are still shadowing the main Discovery Channel, rather than Discovery Science, so it isn't a simple case of changing the DOG and name on the EPG. Maybe it's been delayed?

That was kept quiet. I reckon this has to join Trade TV on the list as one of this threads very rare failures.

Removing the viewing card when watching Rush HD prompts you to re-insert the card so it's at least FTV. It's definitely not premium, so it's either free but requires a viewing card (like Channel 4 HD), or it's part of the £10 HD subscription.
