The only difference I can see is that her legs look extremely thin but that may just be because the picture has been taken mid-stride during a training run and that could very easily distort the image (because certainly they look normal from the back).

Her shoulders look much narrower...but they would now she no longer plays tennis. Her legs seems pretty much the same though...

Apparently she wants to be a 'real' model now (as opposed to a sports model, I suppose) and is trying to change her body accordingly.

IMO, she just isn't natural model-material and in trying to force herself to be, will be putting her health at risk. She is super-attractive and extremely athletic but not fashion-model-esque to me.

She could probably get more work with her 'old' body than she will now anyway, because she is famous for being fit and quite muscly. It's a shame she is dieting/excercising herself into oblivion to change what a lot of women would kill for...

As a tennis player she had a good athletic figure, but after initial promise her career seemed to just fall by the wayside.

It seems she was more preoccupied with becoming a fashion model/celebrity.

Can't bear Potato head Kournikova, as Ross from Friends once said "She's never even won a major tournament!", so I fail to see why she warrants so much attention, she is mediocre looking and not very accomplished...and now she looks like a scrawny version of somebody who is mediocre looking and not very accomplished.

Also she fat-bashed and smugly went on about her own good figure, which makes me dislike her even more!

Why Anna Kournikova's tennis career fell apart, would you believe it, and this sounds ridiculous for a professional athlete and tennis player, she actually became a smoker, and therefore could not compete properly at the highest level anymore; so she pursued a modelling career instead where practically everyone is a smoker and it is no detriment there (apart from health effects). She just seems to have been taken over by the modelling clique and ethos, where smoking and making yourself thin is de rigeur.

She must be pleased that her "new" look is now getting her heaploads of attention. She was extremely attractive before, but her skin looks better then and she looks younger (ovbiously).
