Why is Sarah Jessica Parker universally considered to be 'ugly'?
Why is SJP 'renowned' for being ugly? I have seen her name mentioned in many 'unsexiest' and 'least attractive' polls etc etc.
OK she's no stunner, but she doesn't look THAT bad. I can think of loads of 'celebs' who look much worse than she does. |

I don't get it either. Granted, she has a loooooooong face, but I don't think she's ugly either.

She does have an unfashionably long and bony face. Obviously there are less attractive celebs, but people are reacting against the comparison between her plainish natural looks and the huge media hype about her. I mean people don't write into magazines calling people like Kathy Burke names do they? As an unpretentious character actress she is in the happy position of being able to look herself without complaint; which is just how it should be.
btw, is it SJP's new perfume I saw advertised with the strapline "Lovely on the inside"? If so, it seems a bit of a dodgy one to me... |

I don't think she's ugly either. She's just not conventionally beautiful. Yee gods, no wonder so many women have complexes about their looks. Unless you look like one of Girl's Aloud you might as well give up

I don't think she's ugly at all, an average looking kinda face no more so than cythia nixon and kim cattrall in sex in the city anyway. Is she just singled out because she's the most sucessful?. I think she's glamourous not really conventionally pretty but stil attractive I guess.

Well, I happen to find her beautiful
makes a change from those botox injected, silicon filled, bleached blonde, fake haired, perma-tanned women who we're supposed to view as beautiful. Nothing beautiful about that to me... |
