This 10% discount appears to be for any Vostro business desktop or laptop according to DMXDimension

So you could also buy their cheap Vostro 200 desktop for about £145 including delivery and vat - this model also includes 2Ghz Pentium dual core (core2duo type) Vista home premium (wow not bad at this price) 250G hard drive, 1gb ram (cheap to add another 1gb from Crucial)

For this offer:
http://configure.euro.dell.com/dells...213&lid=122757 and deselect the 17" monitor to get it at £162 minus the 10% discount code if ordered Friday 2pm-4pm

Not a bad deal!

Isn't it easier to repeat what has been previously said, thus claiming glory for it than to read the entire thread and be disapointed

Got the laptop and set it up, wasn't much to uninstall tbh just a couple of google things and MS works.

It's running really well, very responsive and fast, also i noticed it's very quiet, alot more so than my Sony SZ.

All i have installed so far is Office 2007, Google Earth and AVG but all without a glitch.

Damn!! i'm starting to wish I had got one now. I just noticed the price has increased to £329, up from £292.

Dell's prices are up and down like a yo-yo.

Yeah had no issues with it, even boots up and shuts down very fast, so much so hibernate isn't much faster.

I impulse bought a Core 2 Duo T5300 1.73Ghz laptop from Currys for £204.
Maybe it was a 'shop return' but it certainly looks brand new.

Was slightly tempted by the Dell offer.
