One of his last filmed roles was for Stargate Continuum.

That's really sad news. Not only great in Stargate but also in Twin Peaks and being Scully's daddy in X-Files. RIP.

Wow, that's really sad. Pretty shocked actually. He wasn't even that old. Really tragic. It's always wierd when someone you've watched for years dies. It's like you feel you know them, and should feel sadder than you do. Even though you feel sad and realise that it's a big deal for the family, you'll get over it the next day or even a couple of hours and that'll be that. But you almost feel guilty for not feeling sadder about it, cos you've 'known' them for so long. Sorry, just thought I'd try and explain what I meant. Regardless, extremely sad news and my heart goes out to everyone who knew him. x

Sad news indeed . He was a very likeable support character in SG1 and lent the whole thing an air of credibility away from the 'fantastic'.

That's a real shame. He was one of my favourite cast members of SG-1. RIP.

Very sad to hear. Always seemed a thoroughly nice person, and I've enjoyed a lot of his roles, most notably in SG1 and Twin Peaks.

Cheers for all the enjoyment you've given us Don.

Very sad indeed.

Never quite know what to say in these situations

But I met him a few times, and found him nothing less than a true gentleman who treated everyone with respect, attention, and friendlyness.

I feel lucky to have had that chance.

Very sad. RIP Don. He was a great actor and, from what I've heard, a great man and artist too.

Quite a young age these days RIP Don S Davis

Will always be remembered as Gen. Hammond to me as i'm not sure if i have seen him in anything else, but he was still one of the better supporting actors, especially when he left Earth.

He will be missed, hope they do a in memory of at the end of Continuum
