Marco's Great British Feast
I thought it was a bit out of place when Marco lovingly prepared his rabbit stockpot and then added at the end his magic touch... a chicken stock cube?!
![]() All became clear when just before the ad break, Knorr declared themselves sponsors of the 'Great British Feast'.

Stock cubes are quite common, even for chefs.
We use a chicken stock cube along with a vegetable one when making rabbit stew. This will be going into a stew shortly! |

Hehe. Marco's stock cube challenge. Take a pinch of Great British Menu, add a dash of Britain's Favourite View, get Oddjob to chauffeur and throw in some Knorr = Great British Feast.
![]() I'm really enjoying this .. WELL DONE ITV !! (it's not the usual dross) Haven't bothered with this series of the F word, as Gordon becomes a parody of himself. I think Marco is great conveying his passion for food. |

I seem to recall Marco singing the praises of Knorr during Hells Kitchen. He uses some pretty basic ingredients such as worcester sauce too. Even Gordon Ramsay swears by using frozen peas. It's not all complicated stuff.
Glad Marco is doing more TV. |

Yes he shoved bottle loads of pre-prepared sauces into his creations on Hells Kitchen.
Won't watch the man on principle though. |

I won't watch him on principle - he acts like Don Corleone and if you are in favour he bestows a fatherly smile and if you aren't he is the devil incarnate.
I couldn't stand him in Hell's Kitchen and hated the mysoginistic mind games he played ( and probably still plays). He always said that chefs who appeared on TV were selling out and what is he doing now????? ![]()

I love watching Marco, only sorry I didn't record it, I would love to have a go at that fish pie.
Will have to see if/when it's repeated. |

It was embarrassing when he started using the rhubarb to flirt with the rhubarb woman.

I love his relaxed attitude to cooking and measurements.
He's been there, done that, won his Michelin stars and obviously feels cooking isnt something he needs to treat so seriously anymore. |

I notice they use not one but two pieces of music licensed from serial killer show "Dexter". As they are totally unsuited to the show I think the production crew might be implying something about Marco

Another episode of this on tonight. It's quite amusing hearing some of the things he says and seeing what he does. Very similar to Ramsay. For example, they both use Mary Pipers when making chips. He also went fishing for those tiny eels with the same blokes Gordon went with.
