In the interests of conservation, I've shamelessly copied and pasted my post from the start of last year's thread.

It's that annual event, a brand new thread for us 'Daqqers and a repository of deeb's wisdom and links, plus the home of dreadful puns and random musings.

Happy New Year all. I'll start by posting deeb's links to useful sites which will hopefully be more accessible by putting them in the first post.

And now to our first League Tables of the New Year. We are always happy to welcome new pps, you can take it as seriously or as randomly as you like. Just post your Celebdaq number on here and I'll add you on.

At present we have 2 divisions which are published on here every Sunday. There is one promotion and one relegation unless I'm playing around with evening up the numbers as people come and go.

There is also a Points league run by SWW, but it's far too mathematical for me to explain, so I'll leave that to him.

Hi Grilli,

The simple answer is that the game is not without its gremlins. Now and then certain celebrities seem to get stuck with a share price that just continues to climb... and Ms Fisher is the latest casualty... and due to be delisted shortly according to THIS STATEMENT.

... as for the £16 divi? ... another bug... high priced celebs seem to have a corrupted divi at a rate of about 1 penny per £1,000 of share price. The fact that Ms Fisher is showing a £16 divi reflects her share price being around £1.6M.

These bugs have been with the game for ages... and I don't expect they'll ever be fixed now, since the game itself is in its twilight years.

... and no, I'm not naturally a vegetarian... but, I do like cheap food!

So... back to 'daq matters... any statements posted explaining the lack of PD updates and no divi update for Sportdaq?

My guess is that they have geared down operations so much, there is just one hamster left to do the work... so, if that hamster goes off sick... it all grinds to a halt!
