Not sure how big it's going to be, but they started showing the show here in Norway. Have watched the first 10 episodes or so. No Alexis yet, so a bit boring, but still enjoyable.

The first Steven was beautiful. Looks like an angel. I love Claudia. She was, IMO, the most interesting person on the show for a very long time...

And how the hell could Krystle marry Blake. He's a terrible man. He wants to control everything, and gets really pissed off when people do different from what he wants them to. He actually raped Krystle some days ago, and she still forgave him

Katy Kurtman as Lindsay was perhaps not the best actor in the world, and also disappeared quite soon.

Bo Hopkins was good, though

Any other fans here?

Just watched the last episodes of Season 1. Where Alexis appear at the very last moment. Of course we don't see her face. I'm not sure if Joan was already signed at the time, but I guess not.
It got much better from now on; the first 13 episodes were more like "foreplay" (?)

The trial against Blake is interesting. I don't buy the "protecting" Steven, and he *did* kill someone, even if he perhaps didn't intend to do so.

You guess right. From what i gather, the woman "playing Alexis" was a relation of a production crew member as the Producers didn't know who to sign as Alexis. Between the two series they thought they could enrol Sophia Loren at first but she was too expensive. Even Elizabeth Taylor was considered for the role. Eventually, our Joanie stepped in when someone spotted her on a billboard in America promoting either The Stud or The Bitch. The rest is history as they say

Al Corley and Bo Hopkins both return briefly much later on.

I won't spoil how the first returns, but Steven has miraculously changed his face back in the 1991 'reunion' show.

Good choice.

Even though ET and SL are both good actresses, I can't really see them as Alexis. Of course it would have been a different Alexis, so it would probably have worked, but not as good

Yeah Im a fan. Your in for a treat when Alexis joins and causes havoc amongst the family.

Wish they would repeat the series as well as its spin off The Colbys.

They are very slow with issuing the DVD's aren't they. Dallas are being steam rolled out.

I must watch Dynasty again one day. I loved the whole Kystal/Rita thing in a later season that I can still remember. It was hilarious.

Less said about Fallon's abduction the better!

I've got the first to seasons on DVD and waiting for the complete third season to come out. They have been very slow in comparison to Dallas.

The loved the Rita/Krystal thing too and the climax was brilliant.

Sammy Jo was a good addition to Season 2 but she often gets overlooked as she came on the show so close to Alexis. Sammy Jo will add a lot of drama to the Carringtons lives over the series...And her voice does soften in the end.

Thats what I loved about Dynasty. They all hated each other but lived under the same roof causing loads of tensions.

Some days ago, Viveca Lindfors appeared as in Italian fortune teller. She told Alexis she would marry someone very rich, and that this person would EXPIRE... And DIE. Or something. It was quite good

Also, Steven married Sammy Jo. Haven't seen the reactions yet (not this time anyway), but guess it will be fun

Adam is already after only 7 episodes turning into a really disgusting character. He is very unlikeable. I dislike him intensely

Kathleen Beller appeared for the first time yesterday. Very beautiful, and very innocent, at least in the beginning. Claudia is out for now, and the two characters remind me of each other. Both beautiful, yet very fragile...

I remember Dynasty fondly (or as Mr Wogan called it Dysantry)

I remember Fallon running some kind of hotel/spa and having it away with a tennis pro (or was that Krystal's ex?)

Fav character has to be Alexis. Loved her.

I liked the show when the BBC showed Dynasty one week and then the Colby's the following week.

Dynasty hasn't been shown on RTE for years. I remember watching it each weekday morning at 10.30 am, but they didn't air it for long due to viewing figures. I may invest in the DVDs soon though.

Mark Jennings just arrived. Krystle's ex-husband, who turns out to actually be her husband since the divorce never went through

Fallon is running the hotel, and Mark currently works there as a tennis teacher. Fallon somehow seems attracted to him (only kissing so far), which I really can't understand, but she also had an affair with Nick Toscanni, all the time while being married to jeff who is like a million times hotter than both of them.

Yeah, I think the first three seasons are out. Hopefully they will release all of them. Fingers crossed...
