I love how Allison's personality changes completely when she's behind the mic - becomes a total rock chick. She reminds me of a cross between Ruth Lorenzo and Kelly Clarkson.

Didn't really notice Allison till now, she is now one of my faves along with Alexis, I love Allison, Alexis, Michael and Danny, they are all so good this year how can you pick

Yeah I thought that too, she seemed to go for it a bit more and was a lot more loose during the performance.

Having listened to the audio of both, I do think that the first performance is slightly better vocally than the 2nd though, as technically she is completely on the money in the first performance.

My favourites are Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta. I also liked Alexis

But my other favourites are generally those that don't make it, lol. Rose Flack, Emily Hughes, Matt Giraud, Megan Corkrey... the list goes on and on hehe.

I think the second for me as when she's singing the big bit she holds it better i'd say. As you can tell I don't know about rifts or tones or anything like that.

Yeah I'm a bit like you smellyadam, (that's a strange sentence). I'm really hoping Anoop will get a second chance but there seems like the top 12 are going to be male dominated so he may not get a second shot. I thought Rose Flack would make it through to be honest.

I love Allison definatley my favourite so far. Although I also like Alexis, Danny has a good voice but he seems so smug. Kris and Michael are average despite wanting Kris through from group 2, simply because nearly everyone else was so bad. Adams voice doesn't do it for me.

I'm really not getting Adam either, I got so dizzy when he was performing it was original but that doesn't necessarily mean good in this case anyway.

I don't think Danny is smug I just think he got over hyped a bit.

Not too long till we get a proper studio versions of the top 12 songs! I didn't realise group 3 and the wild card were in one week!

It wasn't slagging off it was somebody giving their opinion on the others that have performed. I didn't insult their abilities, just that they didn't come across as well. In fact, Danny and Adam were both favourites of mine pre- top 36. I didn't even know my current favourites (Allison and Kris) then.

Yay I like Allison - I remembered her from the audition shows, and it didnt surprise me at all that she kicked butt last week.

I think its really cute how nervous she is at interviewing, because I know id be EXACTLY the same. I actually thought of myself straight away when I saw her.

I would love an Adam-Allison final atm, though that could change depending on who goes trough this week.

Will her track from last week (Alone) be released in that week? Or will they just release a studio version of whatever top 12 performance they are doing?

Last year they only released studio versions of songs done in the top 12 onwards. So the top 12 release one song each on week one, then the top 11 on week 2 and so on.

Audition/preliminary stages never had any sort of studio recording unfortunately
