A 'funny thread' Well I hope so!

Don't mention the 'J' word.

It's my first thread on DS so please be kind and spill your weird and wonderful sleb stories.

Here are mine and if you are not a child of the 80's they will not mean a thing to you so move along, nothing to see here
  • Mark from S Express used to be my hairdresser
  • Jonathan King once bought me a bottle of champagne. I was only 15 at the time and I am female.
  • Chris Tarrent could have been my step dad but my mum said no.
  • I got drunk with Boy George in the Star bar at the London Hippodrome, he was with Marilyn at the time and I had stolen the Star Bar pass from Nino Ferretto (spelling)

That'll do for now. I want to hear everyone elses.

Lol, well done on your first thread - love it

I saw Danny from Supergrass with Jude Law at the millenium dome snogging - lol only joking, no they were with their kids and Danny was carrying a huuuuge lifesize Pikachu lol!

Thought it was odd they were friends as they seemed such different people (I've met Danny a few times). Then years later it came out about them swinging with each other's wives around that time..!

Great story. Lifesoze Pikachu FREAK!
Love Supergrass. One of my best memories is standing in a muddy Glastonbury and Supergrass on the pyramid stage. Just as they sang "I know a place when the sun hits the sky..." The sun came out and there was this massive cheer.

Keep 'em coming folks.

Aww they were ace.
Boy George has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen in a man.
Thinking about it, they both looked more beautiful than me.

Okay - I used to do dance and drama classes with Suzi Perry from The Gadget Show. She was always a very nice girl - just as she comes across on tv. We were sisters in a show we did.

The only other claims to fame I have are meeting Billy Bragg (lovely friendly man), Joe Elliott from Def Leppard (absolute k**b) and Ian Kelsey from Emmerdale (nice, if a bit shy)

Great thread.

My mum and I used to chat with Dave Lee Travis at Santa Pod Raceway when I was around 12 ! (You're impressed aren't you !)

Barry Grant from Brookside (Paul Usher) propositioned me in a pub after a footie match .... I turned him down obviously.

Steve Davies played table tennis on the table next to me at Center Parcs a couple of years ago

Seen no end of slebs at footie matches. Most recent was Stuart Pearce last Saturday. My son had his photo taken and he signed his autograph. Not particularly friendly unlike Tony Adams who took his time to speak to him at same ground a couple of months before.

But what about Ant and Dec? Byker Grove was filmed in the North East!
And what about Jimmy Nail, Robson Green, Gazza, Donna Air, Jayne Middlemiss - the North East is a hotbed for celebrities!(even if most of them now live in wealthy parts of London)

Good thread.

Nothing really exciting from me though, I've met a few people e.g Nik Kershaw (lovely but quite shy it seemed), Jimmy Nail (lovely guy). I used to play tennis at David Lloyd club and David Platt played there too (he was very good).

I've had dinner with Gary Linekar when he was playing for Barcelona (very nice guy). I was only 14 at the time and was with my dad too.

He's not the one I'm sleeping with though. I'm sleeping with a bloke who lives down the road who's called Robert Smith.

The one I'm doing does not wear eyeliner, and would probably punch me if I suggested that he try it.

The REAL Robbie Williams has recently moved a few miles away, and a friend's sister has met him a couple of times driving down the country lane by his mansion - says he's very friendly, gives a cheery wave and 'good morning' as he drives by. I will be camping out in said country lane with some Rohypnol, a length of rope and some crotchless panties at the earliest opportunity.

I once watched David Tennant embarassingly kiss a so called bloody friend of mine. (Had he not, I feel she would have exploded in rage and tore up the bar)
