(apols if her name is spelt wrong!)

Ok...I'm not talking about the dancing on ice thing here as I don't watch it, although I understand she's popular on there with the viewers.

BUT...I am asking this - seriously WHY do people like Colleen Nolan? I first saw her on Loose Women...before that she was some child in a family band.

On loose women she comes across as fake, arrogant and jealous. Where's the appeal? She's constantly pulling faces at the audience as if she's got 'one up' on whoever she victimising at that moment...she uses every opportunity to get her breasts into the conversation, she loved to be cuttingly sarcastic to Andrea (is that why they don't appear together any more) and generally just seems to be one of those....say something horrible and offensive to someone, and then take it all back with a 'oh i'm only joking' double backhander insult to boot.

So what gives?

Yep totall agree she is very unpleasent.

One of those people who you are with friends with untill you realise that actually they constantly dig and aren't very nice.....she fits in well with Loose Woman.

There's definitely something about her that I don't like.

She still seems to think that The Nolans are a 'big draw', despite their singing career being dead in the water years ago.

How many more times do we need to hear an impromptu rendition of 'I'm in the Mood for Dancing', complete with silly dance moves?!

She's awful on Dancing On Ice as well, lumbering around in unflattering Lycra and resembling Big Bird from Sesame Street.

One thing I will say is that she's certainly found her niche in those classy Iceland ads.

that's true....she does fit into the iceland mould very well....not sure that's something to be proud of tho

I can't stand her and agree totally with all you have written here.

Another thing is that she is always trying to convince people that she has lost loads of weight and now is a size 10 or 12 depending on which tabloid/trashy mag you read.

She can't be doing much skating practice as she is just as lumpy as she was at the beginning. No way is she any smaller than a size 14, and that's being generous, she is more like a size 16 IMO

She was even claiming to be a size 8 a few weeks ago.

She's obviously lost some weight and has done well but if she's selling her 'diet tips' to the magazines I can't see the point in lying about her true size.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was quite a bit of bitching going on behind the scenes. Carol, Coleen and Denise seem to be at the forefront of it.

I'm always gentle...

It's the looks of barely disguised hatred that pass between them. I know they profess to be friends but I bet deep down they can't stand each other.

They are both too competitive to be best friends - they both think they are funny, they both think they are delectable and they both want to be the most popular.

Just my 'lil ole opinon.

I think they do that because they just want to get in at every chance the fact that they live in Wilmslow...in big houses! Again, not sure if it's something to be proud of as Katona lives there too!! Lovely neighbourhood....full of hard working role models.....mmmm?!
