Shoot zombies in "deserted" shopping mall, offers UK website

Zombie shopping mall
People are being offered the chance to shoot zombies in a "spooky, deserted" shopping mall, courtesy of a UK experience day website.

Taking place in a disused mall in Reading, participants on the day will be briefed by the Police Special Zombie Bashing Unit on the 'zombie apocalypse' that they are tasked to try and fix.

Those taking part will then aim to complete a series of 'run and gun' missions inside the abandoned mall with the constant threat of zombies. Airsoft guns, special effects and props are used to imitate fighting the undead.

"The experience will not just be about shooting zombies - ammunition will be limited with only a few opportunities to refuel," states Wish.co.uk. "As a survivor you will [need] speed, steady nerves and smart thinking if you're to make it out alive!"

Titled 'Zombie Shopping Mall', the three-hour experience costs £119 ($189) per person.

Late last year, the website offered people the chance to battle the undead in a 'Zombie Boot Camp'.

Co-founder of Wish.co.uk Richard Kershaw explained: "Our Zombie Boot Camp sold out in days. We're expecting Zombie Shopping Mall to be even more popular, not least because the mall is due to be demolished."
