Students at Durham University have posted a video of them 'porting', in response to a video uploaded two weeks ago of Newcastle students 'milking'.

The original video, which has been viewed over 500,000 times, sees a student visiting a branch of Tesco, purchasing some milk and going outside before pouring it over himself. It then continues with other students following suit.

Students at Durham have now uploaded a clip on YouTube titled 'Porting Durham', which sees a student in a white shirt walking around a branch of Marks & Spencer.

After looking at the milk for sale, he heads to the alcohol aisle and picks up a bottle of port.

After paying, he goes outside and begins to pour the contents over himself.

Clips of other men following suit are then shown, including one coming out of a Subway branch and another stood on a zebra crossing, before covering themselves in port.

The caption to the video reads: "First students bought you Milking. We figure if you're going to do something you might as well do it properly. Don't cry over spilt milk Newcastle - do it the Durham way #portingDurham."
