A cider store in Norfolk is having its name changed because the owner gets inundated with queries about iPhones.

Geoff Fisher owns The Apple Shop in Wroxham Barns.

However, when Apple - famous for creating iPhones and iPads - opened their store in Norwich four years ago, Fisher started to get phone calls about broken or faulty products.

He now receives about 24 a day relating to the hardware.

"People would call up and say they had a problem with their iPod and I told them to chuck it away and have a nice cider to get over it," he said.

He believes the reason for the amount of calls is because his store is listed next to The Apple Store in the phone book and people prefer to call him due to the local prefix.

The store will change its name to The Norfolk Cider Company at Easter.
