PS3 Home to enjoy joint US and UK launch

Sony chief David Reeves has said the firm's PS3 Home service will launch simultaneously in Europe and in the US.

Although it's usual for Europeans to receive games and new content after a US launch, on this occasion Reeves said the firm is making sure both territories access the eagerly-awaited social network service at the same time.

During its E3 conference, Sony failed to offer a precise date for the launch of Home. However, the firm did say it would arrive in the autumn.
