Fight Night Round 4, the first video game to feature Tyson in nearly ten years, promises "the most realistic 'in the ring' experience to date".
According to EA Sports, the title will see a host of boxing legends such as Tyson and Muhammad Ali enter the ring as they utilise their unique strengths and weaknesses, from Ali's reach to Tyson's brawling fighting style.
The game, which boasts an all-new physics-based animation system to recreate punch impacts, will also see "fatigue, adrenaline, footwork and timing all come into play as you hammer away at your opponents".
“The EA Sports Fight Night franchise has always been synonymous with quality and innovation that raised the bar for the sports video game genre,” said Kevin Wilkinson, executive producer at EA Sports.
“EA Sports' Fight Night Round 3 was a platform-defining game as the industry transitioned to next generation consoles. EA Sports Fight Night Round 4 will change how boxing games are played and measured in the future.”
Fight Night Round 4 is scheduled for release in 2009.
