In Pictures: The PlayStation 3 Slim

Sony has announced a slim version of the PlayStation 3, which will be 33% lighter and smaller than the existing model, and include a 120GB hard drive. The system will launch in the opening week of September for £249.99.
During Sony's conference at gamescom 2009, details of the new firmware update were confirmed, while it was also revealed that the video store will be coming to Europe. You can read more at our live blog coverage.
