The release of the download-only PSP Go has meant a huge influx of PSP titles, from the tiny PSP Minis games to the likes of Gran Turismo and FIFA 10. Meanwhile, PS3 owners can check out TMNT and several new demos.

PS3 Games

TMNT: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled : A remake of the 1992 Arcade and SNES brawler, this adds full 3D visuals and reintroduces the four-player co-op that was dropped in the console version. A giant Krang nicks off with the Statue of Liberty so the turtles make across time (and outer space) to stop him and Shredder for good.

Its simple control scheme is fully present here, with just two buttons to attack and one to jump. Attacks don't seem to flow into each other well (maybe a consequence of the added dimension), but it's great fun to just button-bash your way through endless amounts of lackies.

The visuals are vibrant and sharp, almost bordering on cel-shaded, and its easy-going nature makes this a great co-op action game to kick back to. Worth shelling out for at £7.99.

Demos

Brutal Legend : You can try out the heavy metal adventure starring Jack Black ahead of its October release. It's the latest game from Double Fine's Tim Schafer, designer of the Monkey Island series and platformer Psychonauts, so expect amusing dialogue and innovative ideas throughout.

Also available are demos of Need For Speed: SHIFT, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, and Up: The Video Game, all for free.

Downloadable Content

Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage, The Pitt: Two more packs from the first series of DLC for Fallout 3. Operation Anchorage has you enter a simulation of a battle between China and the US, offering a snowy setting and unique set of weapons. Meanwhile, The Pitt takes you to Pittsburgh, one of the few areas that avoided the nuclear strikes. Download them for £7.99 each.

Also available is the Live Season 2.0 All Leagues subscription for FIFA 10, Dynamic DNA and Dynamic Season subscriptions for NBA Live 10 (£11.99) and a Watchman costume pack for LittleBigPlanet, with Nite Owl, Ozymandias, Silk Spectre and Rorschach for £1.59 each or £4.79 for the set.
