Plenty of goods on show this week, with another
Tales Of Monkey Island chapter, some portable
Bomberman and the original
Street Fighter on Virtual Console.
WiiWare Tales Of Monkey Island: Chapter 3: The excellent episodic adventure marches on with a third chapter in
Lair Of The Leviathan. The laughs keep coming and it's still worth going back and catching up if you haven't already. Download it for 1000 Nintendo Points (£7). Read our review of the chapter
here.
Also available is
UNO for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50), which is much like the Xbox Live and recent PSN versions of the same name. Complete with online multiplayer and Wii Speak functionality, this is perhaps one of the best online titles the service has to offer. There's also
Manic Monkey Mayhem, an archaic eight-player action title consisting of battling other monkeys in a variety of modes. It also comes with online play for 1000 Nintendo Points (£7).
Virtual ConsoleFighting Street: If the name seems awfully familiar, that's because it is actually the original
Street Fighter under a different guise. This Turbografx-16 port isn't a good one, making a poor game even worse. There's a reason everyone started with the sequel, so unless you're a fighting buff looking for a taste of history, it's best avoided. Grab it for 600 Nintendo Points (£4.20).
DSiWareBomberman Blitz: Hudson continues its winning run of great
Bomberman downloadable titles with this portable offering, which has all the standard explosive traits of the series, along with eight player local and online play. It's also a mere 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50), so there's little excuse not to consider a download.
Also available is
Suduko for 200 Nintendo Points (£1.40), and
A Little Bit Of… All Time Classics: Family Favourites, which brings across Hearts, Contract Bridge, Ludo, Dominoes, and Dots and Boxes from
42 All-Time Classics on the DS. Download it for 500 Nintendo Points (£3.50).
